composers belts Print

Remember that, unlike your performance belts, composer belts are totally optional (but recommended). 

red belt: write a composition using any notation, using all the notes you currently know on the recorder.

purple belt: your composition should have correct rhythm notation, using all the notes you currently know.

pink belt: your composition should have correct rhythm and staff notation, using all the notes you currently know.

black belt: your composition should have correct rhythm, staff notation and  use at least three different musical symbols, such as slur, tie, accent, staccato or dynamic marks.
