THE 2018-19 PATRIOT
Our yearbook, The Patriot 2019, was distributed last week to students who pre-paid.  We have TWELVE additional yearbooks available if you missed the opportunity to pre-purchase a book for your child.  The cost of the yearbook is $40, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please contact Carrie Fischetti at cfischetti@acdspatriots.net if you would like to buy one.

ATHLETIC BANQUET – THURSDAY, MAY 23, 6-8PM
Student athletes in grades 4 – 8 will be recognized by their coaches for participation in golf, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball.  Dinner will be provided at no cost to our families.  A reservation form was emailed out yesterday and please RSVP by TODAY.  Girls should wear dresses.  Boys should wear dress pants and shirts (No hats or shorts).  Also, NO student cell phones are permitted at the banquet.  We look forward to seeing everyone on the 23rd.

GRADUATION – THURSDAY, JUNE 6, 6PM
Make plans to attend this wonderful evening to celebrate, recognize, and honor the ACDS Class of 2019!  Following the ceremony, there will be a reception in the Frank Hundley Student Life Center.

ALL students in grades 4 – 7 are required to attend graduation.  Boys should wear dress pants, button-down shirts, coats, and ties.  Girls should wear dresses.  Students in grades 6 and 7 are performing in the program.  We look forward to celebrating our graduates.

HOT LUNCHES
The hot lunch program provided by Roma Ristorante will conclude for the year on Friday, May 31.  Please make sure ALL students pack a lunch for Monday, June 3.  School dismisses at noon from June 4 – 6.  Buses will run the afternoon routes.

SUMMER KICK OFF PARTY – JUNE 7
The ACDS Alumni Association is sponsoring a Summer Kick Off Party on Friday, June 7, from 6:30 – 10:00pm, at The Ritchie House in Tappahannock (229 Prince Street).  All patrons, alumni, and friends of ACDS are invited to attend!  The evening will include live music from Midnight Coal Company, food from 17 South Restaurant, and adult beverages.  The all-inclusive ticket is $30.00 each and can be purchased on our website.  Please come visit with old and new friends and enjoy the start of summer!

SUMMER CAMP
We have a limited number of spaces available in our upcoming summer camp,  It is going to be tons of fun!  Please contact Coach P. at rpanis@acdspatriots.net for more information!

ANNUAL GIVING ENDS JUNE 30!
We are SO close to reaching 100% parent participation for the 2018-2019 Annual Giving campaign.  Each class has an incentive for this goal.  PLEASE help us by donating today!
